Hallo zusammen,
wir möchten euch heute transparent über eine wichtige Entscheidung zur Zukunft unserer Serverstruktur informieren.
Nach intensiver Auswertung der aktuellen Spielerzahlen, der allgemeinen Nutzung und der Gesamtsituation des Projekts sind wir zu dem Entschluss gekommen, unseren Fokus künftig klar auf einen zentralen Server zu legen.
Aus diesem Grund haben wir entschieden, den Awakening Server voraussichtlich zum 22.04.2026 kontrolliert abzuschalten.
Diese Entscheidung ist uns nicht leicht gefallen.
Awakening ist der ältere der beiden Server und hat einen wichtigen Beitrag dazu geleistet, dass Classic in seiner heutigen Form überhaupt möglich wurde.
Diese Rolle erkennen wir ausdrücklich an und werden sie nicht vergessen.
Gleichzeitig hat die Entwicklung der vergangenen Monate deutlich gezeigt, dass der parallele Betrieb beider Server auf Dauer nicht mehr sinnvoll und nicht mehr tragfähig ist.
Um das Projekt langfristig zu sichern, müssen wir unsere Kräfte bündeln und eine klare, stabile Grundlage für die Zukunft schaffen.
Unser Fokus wird daher künftig klar auf Classic beziehungsweise Europe liegen. Dort sehen wir die stärkere, stabilere und langfristig tragfähige Basis für die weitere Entwicklung des Projekts.
Für Classic bedeutet diese Entscheidung ganz klar, dass es weitergeht und dass wir unsere Energie künftig gezielt in die Zukunft, Stabilität und Weiterentwicklung dieses zentralen Servers investieren werden.
Unser Ziel ist es, die Community auf einer gemeinsamen Grundlage zu bündeln und damit die besten Voraussetzungen für eine verlässliche und positive Weiterentwicklung zu schaffen.
Weitere Informationen zum Ablauf, zum Übergang und zu den nächsten Schritten werden wir transparent mit euch teilen und künftig an dieser Stelle ergänzen.
Wir möchten uns ausdrücklich bei allen bedanken, die Awakening in der Vergangenheit begleitet, unterstützt und mit aufgebaut haben.

Hello everyone,
today we want to transparently inform you about an important decision regarding the future of our server structure.
After carefully reviewing the current player numbers, overall activity, and the broader state of the project, we have come to the conclusion that our focus must now be placed clearly on one central server.
For this reason, we have decided to shut down the Awakening Server in a controlled manner on 22.04.2026.
This decision was not easy for us. Awakening is the older of the two servers and played an important role in making Classic possible in its current form.
We explicitly acknowledge that contribution and it will not be forgotten.
At the same time, developments over the past months have clearly shown that operating both servers in parallel is no longer reasonable or sustainable in the long term.
In order to secure the project for the future, we need to combine our efforts and create a clear and stable foundation going forward.
Our focus will therefore now be clearly on Classic / Europe. This is where we see the stronger, more stable, and more sustainable foundation for the continued development of the project.
For Classic, this decision clearly means that it will continue and that we will now direct our energy specifically into the future, stability, and further development of this central server.
Our goal is to bring the community together on one shared foundation and to create the best possible conditions for reliable and positive growth. We will share further information about the process, the transition, and the next steps with you transparently and will continue to update you here.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported, shaped, and been part of Awakening in the past.
At the same time, we wish all players, teams, and everyone involved nothing but the best for the upcoming transition, and we hope to welcome as many of you as possible on Classic / Europe.
