Downlad problem 99%

Hello Skalette, i had the same issue at friday.

first the error message

and i closed the launcher - checking the task is really closed.

then restart the launcher and the download again.

sometimes the rate of the download went from 300 to 9 and 0...

then i restartet the launcher again.... after 10 times i though

ok let it run...

i did other things and after 2h back on computer it was finished... maybe it is faster after 10 mins on running. i dont know.

i have the same issue since friday, i tried on 2 different installations on the same maschine and yesterday i tried to download the whole client on a different maschine,

when i checked today i saw it is stuck at 99%, i have tried to restart the whole process, restarted the client, nevertheless the result wont change

Hi MSC habe es nun auch mal so wie beschrieben versucht, kannste alles knicken. Entweder ist es ein Fehler im Client oder beim Server. Anders lässt sich da ganze nicht erklären, habe die torrent Datei auseinander genommen und hin und her dann mal zur Torrent addresse und irgendwer will irgendetwas nicht wer von beiden Server oder Client, wobei ich eher auf Server tippe da client die anfrage einer datei stellt und der Server sie nicht hat oder frei gibt.

Ja Pitty da gebe ich Dir recht, und das war auch bis zu diesem Patch auch bei Mir so. Bei meiner Frau ist das ding normal durchgelaufen, warum es nun bei Mir nicht klappt ist Mir selbst ein Rätzel und Ich werde aus der Console auch net ganz schlau. Sicher ist halt nur das der Client eine Anfrage startet und die Antwort mit einer 404 Error zurück kommt.

warum kann man den nicht einfach die game datei hochladen jetzt und das zur verfügung stellen solang das problem da ist ihr habt ja ein server wo ihr das hochladen könnt

Weil du die torrent datei so nicht öffnen kannst. Dazu kommt das der launcher trotzdem noch datein ziehen muss. Das ist leider nicht so easy going wie man es sich vorstellt

ich meine damit ja auch den clint der volständig runtergeladen ist der fix und fertig ist wo man nur noch auf die exe klicken muss und man spielen kann und nix mehr dowloden muss

So also nach dem diese 404 Meldung kahmen habe ich es nun versucht und schwups da war´s.

  Also es scheint so, nach vielen suchen im Netz und bei meinen Dateien das der Server die Anfrage des Clients (Die EXE Datein) nicht beantworten kann oder will. Die frage ist nur warum wird das update in einem DEBUG Modus versetzt, das ist schon etwas seltsam und ungewöhnlich. Habe sowas eigentlich nur gesehen wenn etwas in Failsafe Modus läuft, aber nie im Regular online Modus. Wie gesagt etwas seltsam, aber nun gehts ja.

I have the same problem today. It is stuck. I have posted this issue two times in the bug section during the last 2 months and both posts were closed, although the issue has not been solved.

Therefore, I would like to kindly ask the administrator not to remove unsolved problems from the board. Others may find inspiration there to what others have tried, what helped, and what did not help. Thank you!

There is a new issue after today's maintenance. The launcher would not even start the filecheck or downloading of the update.

edit: temporary solution found in updating the TERA_version.txt manually.
