I started playing the game and after 4 hours or so noticed that I hadn't seen a single essence gathering spot anywhere. This especially bothers because a mission in Tuwangi Mire requires 10 Crimson essences which should be found near the quest giver area. I have already tried repairing my game through the repair function but it did not solve my problem. Help pls.

This is from the wiki page because sometimes you forget where the essences are. By the way, you can also set the map of NPCs, monsters and collecting materials on your minimap so that you can see where ores, essences or plants are located.If you are a premium player you can take the travel book to port to Highwatch. The essences are also available there

Thank you for the answer, I will check them out. I used tto play back in the day when the tutorial area was isle of dawn so I remembered that there were early game essences. Again thank you for quick answer.
