on 01-10-2025, we have our scheduled maintenance to deploy Patch 1.0.8.
Major game changes
Class balance
This week we are releasing our Lancer, Slayer, Warrior and Sorcerer changes.
Regarding other classes & classes that only got minor changes this patch - please don't hold us at gun point (yet!)
More changes are coming in the near future... some classes might reap some benefits next week!
Lancer
- Onslaught: Reduced mana cost to 400 down from 500
- Spring Attack: Reduced mana cost to 240 down from 300
- Adrenaline Rush: Reduced mana cost to 500 down from 600
- Guardian Shout: Reduced mana cost to 340 down from 400
- Challenging Shout: Reduced mana cost to 250 down from 300
- Rallying Cry: Reduced mana cost to 250 down from 300
Slayer
- Reduced mana decay to 30 per second down from 40
- Measured Slice: Increased crit chance by 10%
- Heart Thrust: Reduced mana cost to 200 down from 250
- Overhand Strike: Reduced mana cost to 120 down from 150
- Eviscerate: Reduced mana cost to 190 down from 250
- Knockdown Strike: Reduced mana cost to 150 down from 170
- In Cold Blood: Reduced mana cost to 150 down from 200
- Triumphant Shout: Increased mana replenishment to 300 up from 200
Warrior
- Increased maximum Resolve to 1500
- Added new skill: Infuriate
- Available at level 50
- Infuriate is only available in Defensive Stance and will make Warrior unable to switch to Assault Stance for 3 minutes after using the skill
- Comes with 2 glyphs, available at level 65
- Energetic Infuriate Decreases cooldown by 20%
- Slowing Infuriate Decreases opponent's movement speed by 50% for 5 seconds
- Existing Warriors: the skill has to be learned in Skills menu
- Cross Parry:
- Removed cooldown from the skill
- Combo Attack:
- Made stagger effect to happen on second hit of the combo instead of the first hit in PvP
- Blade Draw:
- Increased base damage by 10%
- Reduced cooldown to 9 seconds down from 11 seconds
- Reduced mana cost to 230 down from 320
- Scythe:
- Increased base damage by 35%
- Reduced cooldown to 10 seconds down from 12 seconds
- Changed Keen Scythe glyph to Carving Scythe glyph & and made it provide double Crit Chance, previously Crit Factor
- Made the skill replenish 100 Resolve on hit
- Added Poison Blade > Scythe chain
- Rain of Blows:
- Increased base damage by 10%
- Added stagger & knockdown effects immunity while casting the skill
- Added Cascade of Stuns > Rain of Blows chain
- Deadly Gamble:
- Deadly Gamble I - changed the buff to increase Crit Chance by 15%, previously increased Crit Factor
- Deadly Gamble II - changed the buff to increase Crit Chance by 30%, previously increased Crit Factor
- Reduced post-casting delay of the skill
- Reaping Slash:
- Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds down from 40 seconds
- Removed Edge usage from the skill & added Edge generation by 1 in both PvE and PvP
- Increased Scythe damage buff duration to 25 seconds up from 15 seconds
- Added 2 seconds stun effect to the skill
- Made the skill available in both Assault & Defensive Stance (known issue that's likely to stay: skill will be 'greyed out' in the UI even though it's useable)
- Combative Strike:
- Increased damage by 15%
- Binding Sword:
- Changed the skill to finish all actions (shoot and pull) in one button press (known issue that's likely to stay: skill will still prompt for second use in UI)
- Staggering Counter:
- Made the skill unavailable in Defensive Stance
- Backstab:
- Increased stun effect applied by the skill to last 4 seconds up from 3 seconds
- Normalized duration of stun effect applied by the skill
- Rising Fury:
- Added knockdown effect to second attack in PvP
- Traverse Cut:
- Reduced endurance debuff applied by the skill to 0.35% down from 0.85% per stack
- Increased endurance debuff duration to 27 seconds up from 18 seconds
Sorcerer
- Increased base Crit factor to 50 up from 38
- Reduced base PvP defense to 76 down from 84
- Teleport Jaunt:
- Increased cooldown to 15 seconds up from 12 seconds
- Made the skill no longer share cooldown with Backstep
- Mana Infusion:
- Increased mana regeneration effect to 120 per second up from 160 mana per 2 seconds
- Mana Siphon:
- Increased mana replenishment effect to 300, 500, 800 for stage 1, stage 2 & stage 3 respectively up from 30, 50, 80
- Fireblast:
- Increased base damage by 10%
- Made threat generation start at the end of the skill cast instead of the start
- Enabled an option to cancel the skill within ~2 seconds window from activation without the skill going on cooldown
- Increased casting speed effect of uncommon Hastened Fireblast glyph to 25% up from 17%
- Increased cooldown reduction effect of uncommon Energetic Fireblast glyph to 20% up from 10%
- Increased mana cost reduction effect of uncommon Brilliant Fireblast glyph to 400 mana reduction up from 250
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Hastened Fireblast glyph to 3 down from 5
- Reduced glyph point cost of uncommon Hastened Fireblast glyph to 2 down from 4
- Fireball:
- Reduced damage by 10%
- Removed mana cost of the skill
- Added 100 mana replenishment per hit of the skill
- Warp Barrier:
- Increased mana replenishment effect to 5% per hit up from 3%
- Reduced duration of the skill to 1 second from 1.5 second
- Removed post-casting delay of the skill
- Increased Lingering Warp Barrier glyph effect duration to 100% up from 30%
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Lingering Warp Barrier glyph to 2 down from 4
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Energetic Warp Barrier glyph to 3 down from 4
- Reduced glyph point cost of uncommon Energetic Warp Barrier glyph to 2 down from 3
- Painful Trap:
- Increased base damage by 80%
- Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds down from 30 seconds
- Enabled an option to cancel the skill within ~1 second window from activation without the skill going on cooldown
- Lightning Trap:
- Reduced cooldown to 24 seconds down from 30 seconds
- Increased stun effect applied by the skill to last 6 seconds up from 5 seconds
- Increased casting speed of the skill
- Nerve of Exhaustion:
- Reduced cooldown to 50 seconds down from 60 seconds
- Increased weaken & immobilization effect duration to 5 seconds up from 4 seconds
- Burst of Celerity:
- Made the skill be available at level 18
- Made the skill unable to be dispelled by Plague of Exhaustion & Regression
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Swift Burst of Celerity glyph to 3 down from 5
- Reduced glyph point cost of uncommon Swift Burst of Celerity glyph to 2 down from 4
- Mana Volley:
- Reduced cooldown to 90 seconds down from 180 seconds
- Flaming Barrage:
- Removed post-casting delay of the skill
- Magma Bomb:
- Increased base damage by 20%
- Lowered projectile arc height of the skill
- Void Pulse:
- Increased base damage by 10%
- Increased mana cost reduction effect of uncommon Brilliant Void Pulse glyph to 400 mana reduction up from 250
- Arcane Pulse:
- Increased projectile speed of the skill for all charge levels by 100%
- Increased duration of Crit Factor effect of uncommon Keen Arcane Pulse glyph to 5 seconds up from 4 seconds
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Powerlinked Arcane Pulse glyph to 3 down from 5
- Reduced glyph point cost of uncommon Slick Arcane Pulse glyph to 2 down from 4
- Flame Pillar:
- Increased damage by 100%
- Removed post-casting delay of the skill
- Reduced glyph point cost of common Blazing Flame Pillar to 2 down from 3
Unless specified otherwise (such as in Deadly Gamble's case) only the highest available levels of skills were changed, this is a transition state - all skill levels will be updated eventually!
PvE
Ghillieglade:
- Increased drop rate of Blacksmith's Ember to 10%
Bathysmal Rise (NM):
- Increased drop rate of Blacksmith's Ember from Fulminar to 17.5%, 35% with Joy of Party
Bathysmal Rise (HM):
- Added Tantibus Scales as a guaranteed drop from Nightmare Fulminar same as BRNM
- Added Blacksmith's Ember to Nightmare Fulminar at a 25%, 50% with Joy of Party, chance of dropping
PvP Corsair's Stronghold:
- Reduced teamsize to 17 down from 20
- Reduced healers per team to 2(min) and 4(max) down from 3(min) and 4(max)
Fraywind Canyon:
- Reduced teamsize to 12 down from 15
- Reduced healers per team to 3 down from 5
Minor game changes
General
Specialty store:
- Added the following item: Sky Lotus Drink
Bug fixes
- Fixed the bug for the wrong chests in the ambit shop
- Fixed the missing gloves in the ambit shop
- Fixed the description of the skill "Warding Totem" from Mystic
- Fixed the description of the following items: Drop of Dissent, Drop of Defiance, Threads of Rebellion, Jadefired Mark, Kinstorm Mark, Learnkeel Mark
- Fixed Universal Additive & Master's Additive to work from the Valkyion box(vanguard)
- Fixed Bravery Potion not refreshing buff duration after using it before previous buff expired
