Cant connect to server

The server is under attack right now. They are working on a long-term solution. Just have to wait until the attack stops or they solve the problem.

Because one person wants money and ruins the game for everyone else. But don't worry, the devs are working on it and they did a Q&A in discord. It looks promising they'll find a solution.

If you want to see the channels, you have to accept the rules and give yourself the role to see the english/german/etc. speaking channels.

TLDR of the Q&A:

The server is fine. The problem is the old coding of TERA. The client (=player) can send packages to the server. The packages look fine, so the server accepts them, but inside die packages is nonesense information the server cannot read. In one package are millions of those nonesense informations and that crashes the server because it doesn't know how to handle the information. The devs are working on long-term solutions. They have a few they are currently working on. Each advanced solution will take more and more time. The next "bigger" solution is expected to be ready till Friday. They are working to get the server back up online today but can't promise anything.

Thank you for posting this, I missed that there was a Q&A or I would have joined for sure - I did see a channel full people but did not know why and don't want to just barge in. Essentially, I also have faith in this team! if they were able to identify the problem, then that is the first step in resolving it! They are working really hard on this to get it solved for everyone, very dedicated.
