  • Veritas (westlich von Bastion) verbuggt

    Wenn ich in Veritas von Bastion nach links zum Quest-NPC "Thakun" laufe, wo es auch zum Umland von Allemantheia geht, scheint das Spiel zu denken man würde sich teleportieren. Der NPC ist auch nicht da obwohl ich mich mit dem derzeitigen workaround, eine Teleportschriftrolle zu benutzen, hingeportet habe (nach Bastion). Wenn ich mich von dort wegteleportieren möchte kommt die Nachricht "Ihr könnt während des Teleportierens keine Fertigkeiten verwenden.", selbe Meldung wenn man dort eine Fähigkeit einsetzt. Spiel neustarten hilft auch nicht. In Bastion selber funktioniert aber alles normal.

    Bug reproduzieren: Einfach nach Westen aus Bastion rauslaufen bis zum Wasserfall.

  • Tera Toolbox

    Sind demnach nur die schon bereits enthaltenen Mods erlaubt zu benutzen oder gibt es vielleicht eine Dokumentation aller Mods die erlaubt sind welche es über 'Get More Mods' gibt?

  • Downloading issue

    Launcher doesn't seem to work properly right now

    Maybe this helps:
    Join the Discord, go to TERA Classic "bug-report" channel, look up "Launcher tries to redownload all files". There should be link to a .zip file containing the current game files (make sure its from a staff member). Download and point launcher to it.

  • Unsatisfactory frame rate

    Try adding TERA.exe & VTEQ.exe from \TERA\Game\Binaries to NVIDIA App/Control Panel or AMD Control Panel

    For NVIDIA Users:

    Close the game (TERA) if it’s currently running.

    1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel
      • Right-click on your desktop
      • Click NVIDIA Control Panel
    2. In the left sidebar, go to:
      3D Settings → Manage 3D settings
    3. Click the Program Settings tab (next to “Global Settings”).
    4. Click Add (near the top-right of the program list).
    5. Click Browse…
    6. Navigate to the folder where TERA is installed, then locate and select VTEQ.exe.
      • Common locations can look like:
        • C:\Program Files (x86)\TERA\Game\Binaries …
    7. Click Open.
      This will add VTEQ.exe to the Program Settings list.
    8. Now choose the settings you want for TERA (optional), for example:
    9. Preferred graphics processor → High-performance NVIDIA processor (if you have this option)
    10. Power management mode → Prefer maximum performance
    11. Click Apply (bottom-right) to save changes.
    For AMD Users:
    1. Close the game (TERA) if it’s currently running.
    2. Open AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
      • Right-click on your desktop
      • Click AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
        (Or open it from the Start Menu.)
    3. Go to the Gaming tab at the top.
    4. Click Games (or Gaming → Games, depending on your version).
    5. If VTEQ.exe is not listed, click Add A Game (sometimes shown as a + Add button).
    6. Choose Browse (or it will open a file picker directly).
         Navigate to your TERA installation folder, then find and select VTEQ.exe.
      - Common locations can look like:
                  C:\Program Files (x86)\TERA\Game\Binaries …
    7. Click Open to add it to the games list.
    8. Click the newly added TERA profile to open its Graphics settings.
    9. Adjust any settings you want (optional), for example:
    • Radeon Anti-Lag (On/Off)
    • Radeon Chill (On/Off)
    • Radeon Boost (On/Off)
    • Wait for Vertical Refresh (V-Sync)
    • Texture Filtering Quality
    • Anti-Aliasing / Anisotropic Filtering (if available)

    Your changes usually save automatically — but if you see an Apply button, click Apply.

    Optionally make sure you have bSmoothFrameRate=true set to 'false', backup any files you change.
    Open with Editor: \TERA\Game\S1Game\Config\S1Engine.ini
