    Dear Community,

    on Wednesday, 03.09.2025, scheduled maintenance will take place from 09:00 to 15:00 CEST (Berlin time).

    During this period, our services may be temporarily unavailable. The maintenance includes:

    • database updates and optimizations
    • minor adjustments
    • general system improvements
    • backand work
    • backing up the server
    • adding the patch 1.05

    Important Notice:
    With this update, we are introducing a new launcher 1.5.0, which will be mandatory for all players. All previous launcher versions will no longer work after the maintenance. Please make sure to install the new launcher in advance.

    - - Description adjusted to reflect the behaviour: Resets the cooldown of instances other than raid and BRHM, SCNM SCHM and DS. Cannot be used inside an instance.
    - Elite Status Voucher (180-day)
    - - Description adjusted to reflect the behaviour: Adds 180 days of elite status to your account. You must restart the game and launcher before receiving any in-game benefits. Note: If the item cannot be used, place it in bank and back in your inventory.
    - Strongbox Keys
    - - there are a few differnt Keys in the game - we added all strong boxes to the cash shop for 0
    - - each key works on one of them so if you don`t have the Right one please go to the shop and buy it
    - Greater Speed Charm
    - - Description adjusted to reflect the behaviour: Increases Auto-Attack Speed by the maximum amount. Affects nearby players who have Stamina of 48% or higher. Burn in a campfire to activate.
    - Speed Charm
    - - Description adjusted to reflect the behaviour: Increases Auto-Attack Speed by a random amount. Affects nearby players who have Stamina of 48% or higher. Burn in a campfire to activate.


    **Events:**
    - 2x EXP Event will be available from 03.09 to 10.09.
    - Farm Festival will be available from 03.09 to 15.10.

  • PVE Server Classic?

    Alle PVE Aspekte sind am Classic aktiv und bekommen regelmäßig Updates.
    Der Einzige Unterschied zwischen einem PVE und einem PVP Server ist, dass der Content für PVP ebenfalls aktiv ist. Was den Server belebter macht, da einige PVP Spieler auch am PVE teilnehmen.

    Du kannst alle Aspekte im PVE auf dem Server genießen.
    Classic hat zusätzlich dass die Open World noch von Relevanz ist
    Die alten Quests sind noch da und die Story ergibt noch Sinn
    Leveln ist noch von Relevanz und man lernt dort schon seine Klasse kennen
    Es gibt noch die Allianzen und Gildenburgen mit den zugehörigen Features

    Hey friends!

    As of today I'll be joining the moderation team on Discord! (Pretty excited to be honest O.O)

    Some may have seen me either text or in-game but I'm pretty new to this compared to the average TERA player so here are some things about me that could interest you:

    • I'm known as Glubschla and a lot of nicknames stemming from that and feel free to change the name up yourself! Famous are Glubschli, Glub, Glubsch but I've heard a lot of fun and crazy things already xD.
    • I'll be part of the Discord moderation team, answering questions, engaging with all of you and helping wherever I can.


    Previously I moderated a FFXIV Discord with 1k+ members and raided hardcore in that game just like I plan to do here(tell me if you have anything I can improve on!) and just happy figuring out the different classes and getting to know this community.

    Best is also to make a ticket so we can check for each person what the issue is because here i can just write down the same stuff again without knowing what the persons did already :/

  • Maintenance Announcement – 27/08/2025

    Maintenance has been completed.

    🚨 Launcher Update — Action Required (Aug 27, 2025)

    A new launcher is required to play. 1.5 Launcher Download Here

    What’s changing

    • All players must use the new launcher.
    • The launcher will create a Windows Defender exclusion for your TERA folder only (e.g. C:\TERA\) to avoid false positives during the transition. You can review/remove it anytime in Windows Security.
    • We plan to sign the launcher with a code-signing certificate next week. Once signed, Windows will show a verified publisher and SmartScreen/Defender prompts should decrease.
    • Improved process handling so the launcher opens the game more reliably (fewer stuck starts / focus issues).

    🛒 TERA Shop

    • TERA Shop is back.

    🧩 Shinra

    • Shinra integration is in the works. No ETA yet.

    🛡️ Security

    • Backend hardening + additional checks implemented.

    ⚡ Latency

    • Netcode / gateway tuning deployed. Needs testing


    🧰 Toolbox Status

    • Toolbox is not compatible with this build. A fix is being investigated; no ETA right now.
    • If Toolbox cannot be restored quickly, we may integrate key QoL Mod features directly into the launcher.

    ❓ Quick FAQ

    • Game stuck on “Fate of Arun” / server list not loading → Log out in the launcher, then log back in.
    • Can’t select a server after returning to the server screen → Fully restart the game client.
    • Toolbox throws errors at launch → Toolbox is not supported in the current build.

    🔍 Transparency & Safety

    • Scope: The Defender exclusion applies only to your TERA install folder (e.g., C:\TERA\).
    • Control: You can view, change, or remove it anytime. (Removing it may prevent the game from launching until code-signing is in place.)

    How to review/remove the Defender exclusion (Windows 10/11)

    1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection
    2. Click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings
    3. Scroll to Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions
    4. View, edit, or remove the TERA folder exclusion

    Hello,

    the server has no issues and is up since the fixes.

    Things you could try:
    - Do you use the new launcher 1.20?

    - Started as Admin?

    - Tried to relog in launcher?

    - Tried to deleate %appdata% Ordner crazy esports?
