Yes most of the codes are still working
but the highest chance would be if you watch a streamer that play on our server and ask him about his promo code
But sometimes a GM will hide somewhere and if you find him you maybe can get a code too
Where can I find those streamers?
I mean, where they do streaming? discord? twitch?
The last few codes were all given either to a streamer for his community or as a mini event.
When a streamer gets a code, the code normally gets published via these boards every player can buy and place and of course the stream. The last few times the boards were placed in Highwatch and Velika.
As for events they get either announced via Discord or via the before mentioned boards in HW and Velika. The last two events were mini hide and seeks, where the code was either written on a board or the name of a pet that stood beside a gm
These codes are usually just about a day or two active, so you need to redeem them as you get them

I've heard that once in a while a promo code with tera coins is given to players through events or something (or at least was before), is that still a thing?

Just a reminder that pressing V (aka opening achievements tab) is causing the game to crash.
What level and gear did you try this?
For the higher weapon and armor (exodor and higher) we added the crystal slots later, maybe that's what caused this problem.
I was testing using level 50~58 gears at the time.
I just edited the wiki page and added a line saying the server has english support.
I've been playing for a few days now and I'm loving the server, but the only reason I'm currently playing here is because I found about this server on a reddit post saying it also have english support and is open to anyone else other than german players when doing some pretty deep searching about tera private servers.
Before that I always thought this server was exclusively german because theres no advertising anywhere saying it also has english support.
So far the only advertising I found about this server (besides some random reddit posts here and there) are:

What I think that could be done to improve advertisement to bring more english speaking players is:1- Adding some more info about english support on the wiki page (I will trying doing that because if I'm not mistaken, anyone can edit a wiki page as long as they have an account there) Done.
2- Adding an english text on the top100 page as well.
3- Having an english website would be nice too or at least a translating tool/option to switch to english.

I did a few more testings, the accessories crystals breaks when dying, but weapon and armor doesn't.
Amethysts have no user other than selling. Other jewels beside them (like rubies or sapphires) can be user for alchemy but sadly amethysts cannot be user for that
So rubies and above (tier) can be used for alchemy but amethysts and pearls have no other use besides selling for gold? good to know, thanks.
I've been playing for 2 days now and I noticed that the monsters sometimes drops amethysts, so do they have any use besides selling them to merchants for gold?
I haven't played Tera much during apex patch, so I don't really know much.
Like the title says, some hidden achievements are not working, the achievements are:
Full-Time Job - which needs to stay online for 6 hours straight, I tried several times with 6~8 hours straight each time and didn't get the achievement.
A Little Ten-der - which the player needs to die 10 times, I've tried dying more than 30 times and didn't get the achievement.
Also crystals aren't breaking upon death (without crystal binds)
My character died more than 30 times and not a single crystal broke.
I managed to get the achievement Ideal Crystals (which you get by dying 30 times without breaking a crystal) because of that, but can't get the Imperfect Crystals achievement (which you get by breaking crystals 30 times upon death).
